
A graduate of the Medical University of Gdańsk, holding first and second degrees in oral surgery, with a Ph.D. in implantology. She is the author of numerous scientific publications and articles and a speaker at both international and national scientific congresses. She has been involved in implantology for over 25 years and is considered one of the pioneers of implantology in Poland. She has performed many first implant procedures in Poland and Europe, based on innovative technological and pharmacological solutions, including edentulous maxilla and mandible implantation with immediate prosthetic reconstruction. She conducted the first stem cell transplant from adipose tissue in Poland and the second in the world, in a simultaneous jawbone reconstruction procedure for patients affected by oligodontia, a congenital absence of multiple permanent tooth buds.
She is a mentor with 35 years of clinical and teaching experience, gained as a lecturer and assistant professor at the Department of Maxillofacial and Dental Surgery of the Medical University of Gdańsk and as an instructor of her own implantology courses. Her experience includes student training, postgraduate medical training, specialization internships, clinical residencies, and fellowships.
She holds one of the few Implantology Skills Leader titles in Poland, awarded by the National Association of Dental Implantology and the European Association of Dental Implantology (OSIS-EDI). This certification confirms the highest level of qualifications in the field of dental implantology and authorizes her to conduct postgraduate training for dental professionals in implantology and related disciplines. She also holds accreditation from the Ministry of Health, authorizing her to conduct postgraduate training in oral surgery for dentists.
She is the owner and CEO of the Vivadental Group, which is entering its 32nd year of operation, and the Scientific Director of the Vivadental Institute. For over 23 years, she has conducted practical courses for dentists in the fields of implantology, implant prosthetics, oral surgery, and guided bone tissue regeneration. The educational center continuously expands its offerings to include new areas of dentistry.
She created an Authorial Educational Program called Practiculum Implantology, designed for those entering the field of dental implantology. Thanks to its excellent methodology, based on hands-on practice and performing surgical procedures under her supervision, it is considered the most advanced and innovative training program for implantology students. The program's success is measured by its effectiveness, with most of the 261 graduates incorporating implantology into their daily practice during the training itself. Soon, 18 more doctors participating in Season XV will join the ranks of Polish implantologists. An alternative, less advanced training program, Prelude to Implantology, has been completed by 42 dentists.
She collaborates with an elite group of the most experienced doctors and scientists setting global trends in dentistry. Together with Gdańsk University of Technology, she conducted advanced research on innovative medical products for dentistry and improved surgical methods using cutting-edge process technologies and innovative biomaterials.
She has led extensive efforts to integrate medicine and related technologies into the group of smart specializations of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The interdisciplinary partnership she co-created, titled "Long Healthy Life – Innovations in Prevention, Diagnosis, and Therapy of Civilizational Diseases and an Aging Society," was selected by the Pomeranian Voivodeship Marshal's Office as a key area for ensuring competitive economic advantage. It supports reducing the social and economic costs of civilizational diseases and aging by commercializing innovative solutions in areas such as comprehensive, individualized prevention, diagnosis, therapy, and care systems for the disabled and elderly.
She has extensive experience in managing public and private healthcare and in running commercial companies. She is the founder of the Private Dental Center “Poldent” Ltd. (1991), where she serves as CEO, and the Central European Osseointegration Centre – Dental Implantology Clinic Ltd. (2006). Between 2001 and 2006, she held the positions of Head of the Oral Surgery Clinic and Deputy Director of the Specialist Dental Center at the Medical University of Gdańsk. She is the CEO of Vivamedia Ltd., a distributor of the AXIOM implant system and products for dentists from the Anthogyr Factory, part of the Straumann Group.
She has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including Woman of Success 2014 in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Woman of Success of the 20th Anniversary in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Pomeranian Employer of the Year 2014, Primus Inter Pares in the Small Enterprises category, Manhattan Business Award – Leader of Dental Implant Solutions, Dentist of the Year, and Dental Clinic of the Year in the Hipokrates Pomorza 2016 Contest. Additional accolades include the Dental Clinic of the Year 2016 emblem, a Distinction in the 19th Pomeranian Quality Award Contest, a Distinction in the 22nd Polish Quality Award Contest, a Fair Play Enterprise 2016 Award, the Gold Laurel in the 20th Pomeranian Quality Award Contest 2016, a Distinction in the Pomeranian Employer of the Year 2016 Contest, the Now Poland 2017 emblem, the Pomeranian Economic Gryphon 2017 Award, the Gold Laurel in the 21st Pomeranian Quality Award Contest, the Leader of Medicine 2017 title, the Business Gazelles Award, the Entrepreneur Responsible and Socially Sensitive Award, the Lech Bądkowski Award from the Mayor of Gdańsk, the Health Protection Forum Award at the Krynica Economic Forum in 2018, and the Polish Quality Award on the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence in 2018, among others.
